When it feels like there are a million options for your wedding vendors sometimes the best parameters to set are those that align with your values. If going local, environmentally conscious farming, humane farm practices and amazing culinary food are all on your list then look no further… Farmstead Catering was born out of a dream to provide a true farm to table experience for couples hosting their wedding in the Adirondack’s and Champlain Valley.
“We operate as a synergy between farm and kitchen by “insourcing” all the ingredients to make your wedding meal fresh and flavorful. We specialize in executing farm fresh, seasonal menus that are grown and raised with you in mind—from seed to plate.” – DILLON KLEPETAR, Owner, Farmer and Chef
I am lucky to call the Dillon, Taylor, and Kirsten friends and neighbors. Nestled between the hills, just down the road, Echo Farm, it one of my favorite places to drive by…if only so I can see the baby goats ; )
Dillon reached out to me last year to photograph the farm for an article that 7 Days in Burlington was writing about their approach to wedding and event catering. I was happy to spend the morning with Dillon and Taylor, capturing part of their daily summer routine at Echo. Feeding the baby cow from a bottle was just one of the perks that morning!
“Farm to table isn’t just a catch phrase around here. Our farm is fully integrated with our culinary vision in order to deliver elegant seasonal dishes made with 100% organic ingredients. If full-flavored, local food is important to you, look no further.” – Dillon

“If I had to narrow it down to one or two things I liked best, I would have to say the personal touch and Dillon’s attention to detail made our day extra special. And the food was spectacular; so fresh, beautifully prepared and presented.” – Bride & Groom
