I saw on the calendar today that February is considered the last month of winter. With Valentine’s day, Groundhog day and only 28 days long, I feel like spring is just around the corner. This may be wishful thinking on my part… but I love dreaming about the soft pops of spring colors with the deep greens of the mountain forests that turn purple and blue in the late evening light of spring on a frosty winter night.
Together with a group of amazing local wedding professionals from the Adirondack area we created a beautiful spring inspired wedding shoot early last spring. The day was a blustery and cold with snow flurries in the morning but you would never know it by how amazing it all turned out. Katy from VanBee & Co pulled together an amazing group of professionals and provided our stunning backdrop for the shoot.
Jenna of Taylor Rental and Party Plus in Plattsburgh along with Lisa of Lake Placid Flower and Gift designed a beautiful and romantic farm table setting. I loved that it was romantic, elegant and down to earth with a feel of the Adirondacks without it screaming birch bark and rustic barn setting.
Our model Jenny looked stunning with professional hair and makeup by Kat of Katherine Elizabeth Salon. Kat has the magic touch of always enhances the natural beauty of her brides without them looking overdone on their wedding day.
The sparkle and diamonds were a combination of jewelry by Pasyon and Stroughton of Plattsburgh and the Chloe & Isabel Collection provided by Lisa Keegan.
We had so much fun even though we couldn’t feel our fingers most of the time.
