“Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.”
– Ann Landers
When I first met Lauren and Jason at the Whiteface Lodge Wedding Show in Lake Placid, I knew I wanted to capture their wedding day. These two sweethearts call the Adirondacks home and are building their life together here. I love meeting young people who are deciding to stay in the Adirondacks and invest in the small Adirondack communities in the area.
Along with being just two great people, I love how excited Lauren is about photography. I was so glad they decided to invest in an engagement session prior to the wedding. Having a chance to spend an hour with my couples before the big day makes everything a little less stressful! We practice “poses” and get to know each other while having a great time. So on the wedding day Lauren and Jason can be a little more relaxed, and know that they will have beautiful images of their big day.
Lauren loved the photographs from one of my previous session in the Catskill Mountains but we decided that was a little too far to travel! We decided on a location in Essex that I have been wanting to photograph at for a year now. I was so glad they were up for trying something new with me! I think their adventurous spirit paid off big time, because I just LOVE their photographs : )
I would love to talk with you about photographing your engagement, anniversary or family session! I am also currently booking weddings and events in New York, Vermont and the great New England area : ) Please contact me!
Absolutely love the photos.
