When you are feeling overwhelmed and maybe a little lost, or your dreams for what you really want are becoming a little hazy, sometimes you need to get away from it all to rediscover what it is that you want.
Being a photographer requires so much time spent in front of the computer editing, posting to social media, answering emails and everything else that it can be hard to disconnect from it all. Maybe I am lucky in a way that I live in an area that has spotty, at best, cell reception, limited internet availability and a general lack of “tec”. If you have visited or live in the Adirondacks you know what I am talking about : )
For most people though getting away from the hectic schedules, an always plugged in life and phone temptations can be really difficult, if not impossible. And sometimes to tune into what you really need or want to do you have to get away from it.
This is where Allegra Stein and her amazing Campfire Coaching comes in!
Though a mutual friend in Essex, Allegra reached out to me to come and spend the day photographing a part of the weekend, while also being a part of it. I am so glad she did because it was wonderful. From the moment I walked into beautiful Camp Orenda in the Adirondacks I felt completely welcomed.
Ladies from all over the United States had come for a variety of reasons, each their own and a little different. She really has an amazing ability to listen and pull ideas and thoughts out of you that maybe had a hard time surfacing on their own. I really encourage you to take a look at her website and visit her Facebook page. In her own words below you can see just a snapshot of the weekend. I loved having a day to just be creative and take photographs as well!
Allegra is hosting another Campfire Coaching Weekend next June, and if at all possible I highly encourage you to attend.
Interested in having beautiful photographs of your next event? Please contact me! I can’t wait to see how we can work together.
