We met Brittany and Brett at their home in Keene, and was welcomed by a flock of chickens and their dog Sugar! If we ever get another dog I am totally stealing the name Sugar! So cute! I am so glad that Lauren and Chris made the time in their incredible busy schedules to have their family photography session with me! It can be so hard to find the time especially when we all have such busy schedules and lives! The Saugerties Lighthouse is a gorgeous location and we made the most of the beautiful early morning light to capture some beautiful photographs!
The day we shot this styled shoot there was a mist still hanging in the damp air of the Adirondacks that almost gave you a sense of time when the Great Camps were being built. I love the smell of the Adirondacks, it is earthy and rustic but at the same time there is a hushed elegance that floats in the air.
“Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.” – I think Misty Copeland got it right when she said this and I think it describes this styled shoot so well!
