It takes a brave couple to plan a winter wedding in the Adirondacks, especially when you plan to have the ceremony outside. Karisa and Nick proved to have what it takes, and they pulled it off beautifully. The Golden Arrow in downtown Lake Placid was the perfect setting for a winter wedding. As the ladies were getting dolled up by The Hair Studio, sled dogs pulled tourists around the lake and children played game of hockey out on the ice.
Karisa looked absolutely stunning in her bridal gown and it fit the wintery setting perfectly. When the flowers were delivered by Fountain’s Enchanted Florist in Malone, all of eyes in the crowd doubled in size because their beauty. The rich burgundy flowers added just the perfect amount of color to the day. We were able to take a few portraits in the lobby of the Golden Arrow in front of their gorgeous fireplace; it was great to stay out of the cold before the ceremony.
Outside on the boathouse rooftop deck the couples exchanged their vows and then we headed out to brave the ice for a few photographs. I just love the clean minimalist look of the photographs and they were so cute!
