There is still snow on the ground but are we finally at the end of winter? Daffodils and tulips are starting to poke through in the gardens around our house. Are you sad to see winter leave or ready for spring?

A dream in a the mountains

When cake cutting ends with a little dance you know you picked the right baker! Loved this moment during Mary Kate and Cristian’s reception at the Canfield Casino.

The snow is currently blowing sideways outside of my office today…

Did you know the first wedding I photographed In Lake Placid was at the Whiteface Lodge? It is still one of my favorite wedding venues in the area for a few reasons. I love that couples have beautiful spaces to get ready in and spend the morning with family and friends. There are multiple spaces to have your ceremony from the Kanu Room to the Canoe Club Overlooking the lake. Cocktail hour can be held outside in the courtyard or inside by the fireplace in the Terrace room.

Always love a trip to Montreal! We really packed it in with a great food, an immersive light show at the @basiliquenotredame , so many art galleries and a visit to the Bio Dome to end with!

Just a note to say I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

One of those days in the Adirondacks that make your face hurt. But with a blue sky and fresh snow it is so beautiful. Looking forward to spending some time in Saranac Lake with family at the cabin and then engagment photos tomorrow. It is always nice working with couples who love the ADK too and want to have their wedding in a place they cherish.

This beautiful gem is in the heart of Saratoga Springs. The Canfield Casino was originally called the Saratoga Club house and was founded by Boxer John Morrissey. The three rules were no ladies, only cash and no locals. Glad this is not the case anymore!
